I've only been in Germany for a few days, but I have learned a few things while here....
1. There ARE speed limits on the Autobahn. Some stretches have no speed limits: those areas aren't around Stuttgart.
2. Life is a lot better with a Garmin Nuvi. This little device tells you exactly where to go and when you still don't go the right direction, it calculates and redircts you. I don't know how Tyler and I would have made it from the car rental place to the hotel without it!
3. Some Germans don't seem to care if you speak German or not. They will keep on talking to you in even louder German even when you tell them (in German) that you only speak English. Other Germans are super helpful and will translate entire lunch menus into English or will draw you maps. It is impossible to tell the difference at first.
4. Germans love country music, or at least our cab driver did. He was listening to "Achy-Breaky-Heart" when we hopped in. Hilarious.
