Sorry it's been a long time since we have posted any sort of "news."  January is sort of a blah month, though and we haven't had too much going on.  February, has been pretty exciting for us.  Tyler had his vision corrected last week! He underwent PRK surgery - a surgery that reshapes the eye and improves vision.  We had to travel 2 hours north for the surgery, which resulted in a few nights in a hotel and some shopping! We are back home now and Tyler is doing great! He hasn't been in much pain (the most has been a "3" out of "10", 10 being the worst).  His mom and I are convinced that he has some sort of super human pain resistance! He does have sensitivity to light which means we have spend the past few days with minimal light in the house.  Also his eyes become dry if he opens them for too long.  All in all Tyler's progress is going very well. Above you can see Tyler, with sunglasses, a book on tape and "Nurse Lucy."  We are hoping that Tyler will be back at work within two weeks.
