We recieved this rocking chair as a hand-me-down from Tyler's parents. It originally belonged to Tyler's great-grandmother! We love the Edwardian styling of the chair, but it has definitely seen better days. Tyler's mother recalls adding the current upholstery during the 70s, but it hasn't had a lot of love since them. We have decided it is time for a major overhaul. We aren't able to refinish it due to our current living conditions, but it will recieve new webbing, batting, and upholstery.
Tyler is in charge of strenthening the chair (adding screws for support, and glueing some broken parts).
When we took apart the chair, we found an old Land O'Lakes flour sack in the upholstery!
