Our weekend started out with a lazy, rainy Saturday. We ran into some friends and ended up watching Fast and Furious at the movies with them. Lots of explosions, fast cars, not much of a plot - pretty typical, but a good time anyway.
On Monday we joined our friends Carolyn and Chris at a local all you can eat sushi and Mongolian bbq restaraunt. (Yes, Austin we will take you) Mmm.Mmm. This was yummy AND fun! I had the primo seat next to the two tiered revolving sushi.

On Tuesday, Tyler and I went to Stuttgart's Spring festival. The beer fests aren't just for the fall! There is a month long beer fest in April/May too. Tyler and I had to check it out.
We started our time at the fest off right - on the ferrris wheel!
The Germans sure know how to party. Portable log ride - oh yeah!
This is about 2/3 of the fest. It's huge, but not as big as the Volksfest in the fall.
How could you not love an event with a GNOME RIDE? Tyler wishes he could fit in that tiny train!
We had lunch in the "chicken" beer tent. Apparently at night this is the place to be. We enjoyed fest beer and rotisserie chicken. YUM!
