Zach's visit, Part One

We were super excited to have Zach visiting us for the past two weeks.  During his time here we went on a whirlwind tour of Italy, experienced German culture, and had an all around fantastic time!

Zach's visit started out with a trip to our favorite area, Garmisch, Germany.  We were really excited to find that for the first time in four visits to Neuschwanstein castle, the scaffolding/restoration work had been removed to reveal "the money shot" we had been missing!

We couldn't resist the oppurtunity to ham it up.

Since we have been to Neuschwanstein many times and in every season, Tyler has found his favorite snacks along the long, winding, and sometimes hot walk up to the castle.  Here Tyler and Zach snack on freshly fried doughnuts. Oh, and Austin, this time we took the bus up the hill. Hehehe.

We never get tired of looking at these beautiful Alpine views.

At Austin's request, we took Zach to a little local German dive, we affectionately refer to as, "The Pub." The food is outstanding, English is rarely spoken and a good time is always had by all.
