I created a meal plan for the entire month of April. This helped me to making a better shopping list AND cut my grocery bill in half. Gotta love planning ahead.

I portioned out snacks (dried nuts, fruit, small pieces of dark chocolate) into the smallest size of plastic bag. The snacks are roughly 150 calories per bag (the chocolate ones are a bit more) - not that I'm counting calories. This just took a few minutes as soon as I returned from the grocery. Now I have several weeks worth of yummy, healthy snacks!
