The Ball

This past weekend, I went to my very first ball. It was Tyler's first ball with a wife! We got all dressed up - I even painted me nails. Notice that my scar is nearly invisible - THANK YOU Clinique. I did my own hair. I wore the short dress - I know, scandelous! I was very surprised to find that I was one of the youngest people at the ball. Literally. When it was time for the "youngest sailor" to cut the cake. The "youngest sailor" was two years younger than me!! It was definitely a good time though. Tyler and I danced - not much though. You know we are Baptists! Ha, ha, ha!! This was actually the first time we ever danced in public. I was a little nervous. Isn't that silly?! I think Tyler is a better dancer than I am. This seems odd since I am the one that took dance for 4+ years and when Tyler was younger, he used to be "sick" so he wouldn't have to go to cotillion and wear pink ties!!! Ha,ha,ha. I can't wait until he reads this...
