Tyler wants a Porsche and a bike traffic light
Tyler and I had a pretty low key weekend. We celebrated the sale of our condo on Friday with a fun appetizer dinner and movie night. On Saturday I had lots of fun at German cooking class. I learned to make sauerkraut (the Germans do NOT eat it out of a can - they always cook it), gulasche, and black forrest cake. Yum! If you come and visit me, I will demonstrate my skills. I enjoyed the class so much that I signed up for Christmas cookie making class in December.
On Saturday night Lucy became ill. We called our parental schnauzer experts (Mom and Dad Goad) and then the emergency vet. The vet said it was okay to wait until morning to bring her in. Lucy had a UTI infection. She had an antibiotic shot and took it like a champ. At the vet, Tyler was looking at a small animal in a cage and kept saying "hundt! hundt!" The receptionist looked at him with wide eyes and said "chinchilla!" Tyler and I couldn't help laughing! Lucy is feeling much better now.
Tyler consoles Lucy, who is exiled to the bathroom.
Monday was a cold, rainy day so we decided to venture to the Porsche museum. These pictures are from the one room exhibit. It's pretty lame compared the Mercedes Museum. I mean the cars are cool, but it is ONE room with 12ish cars and a super small gift shop. However the picture at the top left shows the nearly finished band new Porsche museum. Delays in construction have prevented it from opening yet, but be sure that a certain someone (Tyler? Dad Goad?) will take me ASAP.
