Sick as a dog

Sorry, it's been a while AGAIN. This time things haven't been so fun around the Goad house. Tyler came down with a nasty traveler's illness the day we left Paris and was sick for many days afterward. He even missed work! Lucy has also been sick. She has been having skin problems. We think she is allergic to something, we just don't know what. Lucy also had a terrible reaction to her annual shots today resulting in TWO trips to the vet. No worries though - she's fine now.

I haven't been sick (knock on wood), but have been taking care of my two "babies." I know about 10 ways to make chicken soup and how to soothe dog hives if anyone needs to know... I also helped at VBS this past week. I put on my teacher hat and signed up to teach the daily lesson to all 250 kids. I had a great time building the "buring bush," explaining passover, and leading the kids through the "red sea." It was all very fun, but I'll happy to have a week to relax! One of these days I'm going to actually get to the pool. Every day that I have tried to go lately it has rained. Hopefully we will have some new pictures/adventures to post soon!
